Re: anyone running wheel spacers for a 4x4?

A guy I know put them on his rear end to make the wheel/tire offset in the fenderwell match the front. They work good nice and strong he has a 84 1/2ton 4x4 longbed with a good running 350 to sm465 tranny. He used it to haul his racecar to the track, and pounded some pavement with it. Never had an problem with then, but he never offroaded any so I can't say if they would hold up to that abuse. They were 1 to 1-1/2 thick alum six bolt dont know the brand, he bought them at a swap meet new for about 130 [thats for 2 and 12 lugnuts ] about 6 years ago. Hope this helps but no pic
