Rear Suburban Window Motors
Hey Guys , I was just getting into assembling my rear tailgate , I picked up a reconditioned Cardon ... its a terd ... the old factory ac delco works better .
I had to remove the regulator and re-clock the two arms and I also repreloaded the deadly spring ... was not to bad . Cardon sucked ... had no power and over heated ... Beside going manual are there any other options ... dose AC Delco still sell sell this motor and if any one has the part number that would be great ? Thanks guys greg |

Re: Rear Suburban Window Motors
Got mine ... Plus a back up for the 59 bucks for factory its well worth the price , came complete with gear clutch that drives the regulator .
Way better then the rebuilds that are out there and 20 bucks cheaper with free ship . Amazon.com: ACDelco 5045610 Tailgate Window... You may have to search the number on amazon |

Re: Rear Suburban Window Motors
Some one had mine apart ... the spring just fell apart plus it was out of allinement . There should be a line mark in the center of the regulator and both of the arms will also have line on the them .
Just line up all the lines .... make sure your spring is loaded with the arms the correct way ... should load the arms up . The spring helps push the window up . I just used a pair of vise grips and a pair of heavy leather gloves ... just incase ... think guys call it the spring of death ...LOL Its not that bad . |
