question for pulleys for a 250
Do the pulleys on the V8s fit on a V6 like the 250?
see im having problems finding a pulley(single or Double) for my power steering pump. and Ive also read on the forums that finding a matching set of pulleys is Ideal to fend off alignment problems.

Re: question for pulleys for a 250
I have'nt found any V8 ones that looked even close. That doesn't mean they're not out there. If you have a double V Harmonic balancer and a double groove pulley on the water pump then you should be OK.There are some differences in alignment because of the brackets.Mixing did not work on mine. The Main bracket that mounts to the engine seems to be the same but the pivot and adjuster brackets come in at least two versions with the pump pulley also having to match. One set of mine fit on the inner pulley groove and the other the outer.I have no clue if the groove used makes a difference when running A/C.My alt also had a double groove pulley,so it would have worked either way.IIRC the one I finally wound up using(had a good pump so I didn't have to swap PS pulleys) was from an Integrated head engine though the main bracket was non integrated..
