Gas tank hangers SWB VS LWB, Same or not?

I just cut down my 76 and have a LH SWB fuel tank. I only have hangers and straps for LWB trucks. I'm assuming the hangers and straps will interchange, but I'm not for sure. So I figured I'd ask here and see what you guys have to say. Thanks Ryan.

Re: Gas tank hangers SWB VS LWB, Same or not?

Yes, but you might have to drill a hole or two in the frame to make all the bolt holes line up, most do. I used a dual tank set up from an 84 lwb on a 74 swb that originally had a single tank. Fortunately the lwb had 16 gal tanks because the 20 gal tanks dont fit on a swb.

I have lwb hangers on my swb truck with a 16 gal tank. Worked perfect with no drilling.

Cool deal! I'll have to dril my rear hanger holes because I had to remove that section from my frame when I made it a SWB.
