Brakes interchangeable ???

Hey guys, I want to know if you guys know if any of the brake parts off a 2000 ls1 camaro be able to fit on my 86 c10? I just bought the camaro to swap the ls1 with tranny but this thing has rear disc brakes with slotted rotor front and back. It also has 3:73 gears in the rear but I wouldn't use the weaker 7.5 over the 10 bolt. So can any of this stuff (gears, rear disc, abs, etc..,) change over to our setup?

I would like to use the 18's that's on the camaro too so that's why I would like swap the front rotor also.

Thanks
Slim

Re: Brakes interchangeable ???

Even if they swapped over (no idea if they do) your backspacing on the wheels would be way off, they would be severely inside your fenders and there would be clearance issues.

I am sure someone else can chime in on the other parts.

I was looking at that too. It looks like these wheels have a deeper offset than my old vette steelies. I don't know any specifics on the offset but the front tires are 275/35 and rear 315/30. It's some pretty wide wheels.

Re: Brakes interchangeable ???

you maybe able to use tha caliper with tha help of someones brrackets. tha rear end i'm guessing in to narrow for a square. you could part it ot & keep stuff like wheels, seats, console, shifter & anything else you maybe can adapt to your truck. You can get some spacers/adapters & use tha wheels.
