What modern bench seat to use?

I'm thinking about taking out the 96 split bench seat I have in my 58. What modern bench seat looks close to the original in size and height? Plan to recover it classic style. Truck is deluxe cab so don't want too much seat showing thru glass.

Re: What modern bench seat to use?

I'm going to re-cover a bench out of a 77 Malibu. The seat brackets off an astro bolted on with no modification whatsoever and it sits the right level with the crappy headrests removed - right at the bottom of the window. I got the measurements from an original and it's the same width and height. I know the original didn't have an armrest but I think it's nice to have.

It was a 94 astro but I think they are all similar in the 90's. Also...that huge ugly body of malibu was made from 73-77 and buick, olds, and pontiac had versions of the same seat. They were produced as 2 door, 4 door, and wagons. El caminos may have had the same seat as well.
