What are all these knobs and what do they do?

Had my 58 Apache now for 2 weeks and just getting it road ready. Does anyone have a pic describing all the knobs on the dash and what they are for? Some of mine work and some don't. I know what the choke knob is but how does the throttle knob work? If someone could explain this to me I would really appreciate it. Love my truck

The throttle knob is just what it sounds like, its a throttle. I used mine for a dangerous cruise control in other trucks I had, and as a "gas pedel" when starting it on a hill in a 6 cyl. model.

Re: What are all these knobs and what do they do?

The manual throttle served many functions. Keeping the engine at steady rpm, usually in granny gear, to match the speed of other farm equipment. Wifes aunt told use about driving big grain trucks next to the combines in the 40s. They were also used to run PTO accessories, granny 4 speeds have a plate on the side. also good for fast idle warm up on cold mornings. others should be for choke. wiper, cigar lighter option. and radio delete blank knob like plates. standard heater had a round knob in the left curved plate. deluxe has vertical slid controls.
