Air cab, tilt wheel, factory tach...

Went to buy a 72 short bed frame today at a local yard and the owner has a 72 custom with air cab, tilt wheel and factory tach. Its longwheel base missing the bed and has a later engine in it. He says it runs and drives and wants $800 for it. I'll take pictures if someone is interested. The cab is in good shape, some rust around the rear corners.

Damn if he was in Texas I would buy it and give you the tilt and tach dash. I got a bed for a LWB truck I just need a truck to put it on. Unfortunately Kentucky is a bit to far to go for a truck

Greetings from Benton.. I went to that yard a few weeks ago I didnt see the the tach, he told me he wanted $1000 for it. Said it had a 350/350 combo with 2 extra beds to go with it. Wether it does or not I dont know. I did find an auto crossmember there I have been looking for

Tim, I'll pm you his number.

Z28, small world! He want 1000.00 for the two beds and a frame and the truck or 800.00 for just the truck. He sold one of the beds the day I was there.

Sometime we should met, I'd like to see us fill up a Sonic or something with 67-72 trucks.

Jamie, What Collection??? I sold you the '72 and I sold the '77 blazer 2 weeks ago. The asphalt goes down next week! Now I just have the '69 and my ole work horse '77. I never heard anything from you about the '72 and the title. Did you want to go the salvage title route or do you even still have it? Let me know. P.S. I got some parts laying around, I'll post them as soon as I can take pics.

z28, I work at briggs, I'll pm you with my number. This weekend I plan on going to Union City for the car show at the Goodyear plant but I'll be back in town next week.

Do you work first shift? I know I see a few of these trucks park out there.

You missed the show it was Sat. Not as good of a turn out as usual due to the weather and only 2 67-72 trucks.
