Re: First day with my new trailer and........
Getting some tires put on it today, a battery and hopefully she fires up. Give it a good cleaning and drive it. I need some factory 65 caps if anyone know where some are.

Man, that thing has got "Shop Truck" written all over it......
Don't bag it, leave it static, drop it 5/7 with dog dish caps and use it as a parts hauler.

Re: First day with my new trailer and........
Oh man am I stoked about this truck. Fresh battery and some new gas, she fired right up. Cleaned it up a bit and changed the tires. It looks great, now I just need some white caps and oh ya....a clutch. LOL, no biggie I guess I gotta get dirty.
OEM4ME stopped by and gave me his stamp of approval today so I guess I did good. LOL |

Re: First day with my new trailer and........
Yep, you got a So Cal desert special there. Sooo solid. Survivors like that must make the guys back east breakdown and sob "It's just not fair".
Mostly orig paint, no rust, perfect floor mat, good factory deluxe upholstery, build sheet in the seat back, also still has the orig gas cap and cardboard tank cover in place. Yes Del, you scored big time. Now I'm just waiting to see who sweet-talks you out of a killer shop truck. Last edited by oem4me; 12-30-2011 at 06:07 PM. |

Re: First day with my new trailer and........
I would move to just have a chance to find a nice truck like that but moving from MD to CA would be like jumping out the frying pan and into the fire guess i will just keep sobbing.

Re: First day with my new trailer and........
Hey, Del- How many miles does she have on her? Oh, by the way these desert trucks you find do make us " rusty truck builders" sob for sure. We never see them that straight and rust free. Our Michigan salt just eats 'em like candy.
