GMC 270 question....HELP!

Okay i got a GMC 270 straight six and i am changing out the temp sender, only thing is that the old sender has a threaded end and a brass tab where i can connect the wire to....the new sender has a "T" like tab on the top of it and i am not sure how to go about connecting the wire to it.

Has anybody here used one of these new type of temp senders??

It was the only thing i could find, every place i went said they don't carry the threaded ones anymore.
