Auto Meter Speedo

I have an Auto Meter Phantom 5" Speedo that I installed, but the needle is all jumpy. Is there something I can put on the connector that can stop this? I've heard of some type of graphite that you just shoot in the housing. Is this true? Thanks!

try graphite or silicon spray, personally i would just buy a new cable, its less of a hassle
