Roof Panel with Cab Lights

Roof Panel with cab lights. Spot welds have been drilled out around rain gutter edge, and cut was made behind rear seam to remove. Paint is original, so no hidden bondo. Has about a 6" long crease on driver side that could easily be hammered out. 3 lenses are crap, 1 is fair and 1 is near perfect. Has some surface rust on top where something spilled and ate into paint. Underside also has some surface rust but nothing major. Harness included.

$75. picked up in central Jersey, no shipping

Also have 5 NOS lenses and 5 aftermarket gaskets that I will offer to the buyer of the roof for an additional $100.

Re: Roof Panel with Cab Lights

Nice job taking that off and a pretty darn good deal on the whole set up. If that was for sale here I would pick it up for sure , and I have no need for it lol.

I would actually cut the seam off of this panel, then cut the roof that is on the truck about an inch ahead of the seam, and then weld together from outside, then grind, hammer and fill.

I've seen guys cut these panels right down the center and weld back together from outside. I think that it would be better to weld closer to the seam (strong point) to avoid warpage.

I'll buy the lenses if you'd separate.

Re: Roof Panel with Cab Lights

I'd be interested in the cab lights & gaskets as well, if you sell em separate.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Roof Panel with Cab Lights

I'm not ready to seperate the NOS lenses yet. I would like to offer to the buyer of the roof first. But I will keep you guys in mind.

bignbad, gmclonghorn was interested if I was willing to ship, but I do not want to ship, so you are up. I'm in Edison NJ, about 2.5 hrs from Carlisle.
