radio removial
Can someone tell me the steps to removing a 53 AD Chevy original radio?
what size tools i will need and any other tips to removing the radio. I don't live near my project and just wanna make sure I've got a idea of what i need to do before i start pulling the radio. Thanks |

Re: radio removial
I think the PO used the "Jaws of Life" to remove the one in my '52. Come to think of it, he must've used them for a lot of stuff...

Re: radio removial
Just removed a stock radio from a 48 3/4 ton chevy. There are 2 screws in the bottom of the dash you have to remove, and then you have to remove the knobs from the radio with a small screwdriver. Then there are 2 nuts that secure the radio to the front of the dash like most other radios. That is all there is to it.
