Rear Wheel Cylinders
Are the rear brake wheel cylinders different (right/left)? "70 -1/2 ton"

I have searched the parts on line and from what I read the fitting thread sizes are different. One's 3/8 and the other's 7/16. Is that correct??
Thanks for the help. Just spent 1-#large on a valve job. Still patching more little stuff. |

According to the books, both rear cylinders have the same thread. Angle different from right and left. Same with the front. 4WD trucks without locking hubs have 7/16" front cylinders, models with locking hubs have 3/8".

Sorry about the links, but thanks for taking the time to chase 'em down. Gotta' get the right stuff - truck's my only wheels, so I'm stranded if the stuff doesn't fit. Off tomorrow, so time will tell LOL
