68 Shortbed
I have a 68 short fleet bed for sale. Previous owner had some of the body work done and the markers filled. The floor is a little banged up and there is a patch where I'm guessing the pumpkin used to go through the floor. Tailgate also has had some work done to one side, it's in pretty good shape also.

Re: 68 Shortbed
Is it just a bare truck? No interior, glass, engine

Re: 68 Shortbed
I hear about differences between 67-72 models. Is the bed the same for my 72. If so I am interested. Let me know.

Re: 68 Shortbed
joe the fourth pic that is a patch of bed floor welded in, I guess the previous owner had the truck lowered too far for a stock floor and the top of the 12 bolt housing poked through so they just cut a hole in the floor, I didn't do it so I'm not totally sure, I'm open to offers but since it's only been posted a few hours I'm probably not going to take them yet, I'll listen and keep them in mind though, I'm going with a step side bed on this project, just got a good deal on this truck so I pulled the trigger, it's in Texas not georgia

Re: 68 Shortbed
rick the difference in this bed and the 72 shouldn't be anything except the previous owner filled in(shaved) the marker lights off the bed, other than that it'll bolt right up and will be exactly the same

Re: 68 Shortbed
Do you already have a stepside bed? I do but it needs a new floor. Maybe a trade. I'll offer you $550 for the bed eitherway.

Re: 68 Shortbed
No I don't have a stepside bed, stp67-72 has one locally for me but if I can work a trade for one that'd work too, it'd have to be pretty clean, the floor doesn't matter as its going to have to be raised and custom anyway, send me some pics to jparks911@hotmail.com, not willing to go to 550 yet but the trade is still an option

I'll take pictures and post tomorrow. The bed is complete minus floor and in pretty good shape as well.
