F/S or trade Sherline Mini-Mill
SOLD
I'm curious if there is any interest in my mini mill, for sale or trade. I bought it 5 years ago to mill front panels for custom electronics, didn't end up using it alot. Converted it to cnc control and after that only used it to engrave the front panel of the homemade step motor controller I built. Will post some pictures if there is interest, you can see it at www.sherline.com The whole setup includes: - Sherline milling machine, graduated in inches, converted for cnc control with steppers (also can replace steppers with original handwheels, included) Made in the USA - baseplate to protect bed surface - headstock spacer - bed vice - rotary table with adapter for four jaw chuck - four jaw chuck - right angle attachment for rotary table with right angle adjustable tailstock - boring head + boring bars - gear cutting head + blanks - fly cutter - 3/8" End mill holder - 3-collets and drawbar - slitting saw holder and saws - drill chuck - horizontal mill conversion plate - work piece clamps and such, kind of beat up - Edge finder, numerous end mills, 1/8" to 1/2", some ball mills, some are new and some are used. - homemade step motor controller (free with the milling machine, if you want it, it is heavy, shipping $$$$) - plastic mill cover From sherline.com all of this would cost $1700 US new I want around $1000US plus shipping or equivalent trade. What I need or would like: (any body parts are for a 72 Chev) - 350 sbc or any big block chev engine (complete preferred) - solid cab - 8' fleetside box - doors - grill and surround - inner fenders - another truck - lots of other stuff Ron Last edited by ronh72c10; 09-08-2003 at 04:19 PM. |

Some pictures:
The adaptor plates for the steppers were made on the milling machine and actually mount without any holes being drilled. From left to right: 5 blank HS tool blanks, 3 collets, gear tooth cutter(never used), 1/4" chuck, fly cutter, slitting saw holder, 6 slitting saws, and at the top the bed vice. From left to right: Rotary table mounted in the right angle attachment, boring head, various boring bars, (one broken), the 3/8" end mill holder, and the right angle tailstock. The tooling baseplate, 3.1" 4 jaw chuck and rotary table adaptor for the chuck. Various endmills 1/8" to 1/2", some two flute, and four flute, some ball end, some center drills (one damaged), an edge finder, and three extra cutting tools for the fly cutter. Ron |
