Yes, they would be the same 8x6.5" lug pattern. I would love to have them if it wasn't so far away.

Those would be great as long as they are not 16.5". If so the tires are hard to find and expencive when you do. WES

I'm guessing they are most likely 16" since the seller says they are from a 1988 Ford.

Not sure what the year of the truck would have to do with 16" vs 16.5"...My brother's 2002 F250 had 16.5"s on it when he purchased it...it's whatever the owner decides to put on.

Those wheels are not stock, and were most likely made in the 70's by Western or Ansen.

I don't see anything about size in the ad. I have sent an email to the seller asking size and condition. I realize they were not stock on Fords or any other truck. I posted the link since many folks on this forum like this style on our trucks. I'll post any info I get on size and condition.

I copy and pasted the ad copy ....

Set of 16.5" wheels 8 lug off of a 1988 Ford F250. Tires hold air but aren't in very good shape. Need them gone ASAP

Silly you have a set of 16" 8 lug mags?

I'm totally baffled. When I open the link I posted it says "set of 5 wheels"... not 16.5". A Craigslist mystery:

FORD TRUCK WHEELS - $125 (east mesa)

Re: 8 Lug Slots on Phoenix Craigslist

Contact the poster. My money says they are 16.5" I have NEVER seen 8 lug slots in 16"...not saying they do not exist (since SOM confirms he has a set), just never seen them.

SOM- Make sure you hang on to those 16" slots

Re: 8 Lug Slots on Phoenix Craigslist

I am sure they are 9.75 x 16.5s. The seller doesn't offer an adequate description since the size isn't even given and coming off of an '88 F250 has nothing to do with the wheels. They could go on any make 3/4t or single wheel 1t prior to goofy metric lug patterns on late models. Since they are 9.75s they are most suited for a 4wd and there is a decent selection of the best off road tires available, which are cheaper than the same size 16s. The price is about right. I'd say they are worth up to $300 w/o the burden of the junk tires. They'll cost $40 to have removed, then there's the disposal fee.

It still says "5" not "16.5" for me...but that is likely because he has updated the ad, but your browser's cache needs to be refreshed. Once I did that, it changed to 16.5.

The 16" are extremely rare, http://www.akhwheels.com gets all the old rare wheels had a set and wanted like $2400 for the four.

Re: 8 Lug Slots on Phoenix Craigslist

I believe those are custom made from 16.5s. Until the late '90s there were no wider 16" tires made. Just narrow.
