Best way to remove angle bed strips

My bed strips are rusted and I think they are spot welded on. What is the best way to remove them? Any help will be great!

Well if you're not going to use them again I would put a grinder or torch on them. If you're just wanting to take them off and clean them up maybe you could just wire wheel them in place. What's your plan?

The 'Best Way" is to get someone else to do it for a case of beer!

But short of that follow above

I'm not going to use them. They are gone. I hope that the metal behind them are still ok.

As the other person is removing them you can drink the case of beer. Sounds like a good plan.

Re: Best way to remove angle bed strips

It looks like I have rust behind the strip. I have not started to work on it yet because the front has just as much work. I hope all I have to do is spot fill the bad places and not replace the whole bed panel.
