Should I paint my gas tank?

I have a 72 chevy c-20 pickup. Should I paint the gas tank? It never was but I got that painting fealing. The tank is behind the seat and where it is dry but here in New England we do have humidity and it is not used every day. What do you think?

Re: Should I paint my gas tank?

I am restoring my 72 C-20 now. I took care not to paint mine. I don't think it will rust inside the cab. But if you would like to paint it then you should paint it. It's your truck so go for it.
