I believe there are two types, metal and plastic letters?

1. Does this one look like plastic?

2. Are the letters suppose to be silver?

3. Does anyone know a brand of paint that is close?

I would like to restore this and sell it.

All aftermarket I have ever seen has chrome letters but I have had NOS that has had chrome and a couple that has had gray plastic letters.

Yes it is an old NOS piece from the late 80's. The switched to plastic letters and they were painted gray. It's much like the NOS Cheyenne Super/Sierra Grande dash bezels with the painted silver edging. A close match to the paint is SEM silver. Trevor
