Power Steering question

I have a 68 C10 with manual steering and a 307. I know I can go to a junkyard and pull the pump, pulley, hoses, and gear box from a 73 and up chevy to make it power steering. However, I have a 78 3/4 ton 4X4 Dodge parts truck with a 318 sitting around in the shop. Does anyone know if I could pull the assembly from it and use it on my C10?

Thanks in advance! I love this forum!

Re: Power Steering question

Chrysler and Chevy wouldn't interchange. It might be able to be fabbed and made to work, but it wouldn't be worth all that work, for what it would to go but the Chevy stuff .02
