This might sound odd and may or may not work. I have had very good luck using PVC cement on plastic. I repaired a panel on my 83 this way. Sanded it down after it dried then dyed the panel and you cant even tell it was there except from the back side.

What panel did you repair? I'm curious if it was the same material the door panel is made of. It's a pretty clean break, so it's worth a shot...

PVC glue might work, but too me, it's about the same thing as plastic model cement. They both work by melting the parts together.

Ken, the way I look at it, you ain't go much choice right about now.

Sorry, I really do feel your pain, but I couldn't help but rag you a little. If it will look decent and hold up until the show is over, mabye it won't be seen.

I am going to call the suppliers tomorrow, and see if anyone has an OEm panel. If not, I gotta rig it somehow. It is a clean break, and I think I can glue it from the back side. Then all I have to do is try to match the dye...
