How many miles?
A year ago yesterday The engine I rebuilt for my truck was first started. Today I'm less than 100 miles from having 20,000 miles on that engine. It's hard to believe how fast they add up, but I drive it everywhere and for everything, and even though I have other stuff, its always my 1st choice & what I drive the most!

Re: How many miles?
If I had your ride, I'd be driving it everywhere (like I do my own). Good poll idea!

Re: How many miles?
Since the restification, Old Yeller doesn't see much use these days. It's kind of a shame. Before hand I drove him everyday. Since then, my business model has changed and it's a lot more convenient and cost efficient to drive my ext cab '98 Chevy.
I do got him out on weekends to take a spin up and down the road which is still a very good stress relief.

Re: How many miles?
Up here in the "Oregon Territories", our engines see that kind of mileage but our tires only see a 1/4 of that....a lot of stop and go! Wide open spaces such as your state and eastern Washington puts the "good" miles on them!
For me mostly around town driving....until I get OD. |

Re: How many miles?
I drive my bucket everywhere. For a couple years she was putting in 135 miles per day, and I think the most miles in a year was something like 36k. Now it's only around 14-15k per year... barely enough to keep the motor consistently warmed up,

Re: How many miles?
Less than 1K / year since I retired, but it sure ain't a trailer queen! Poor thing just sits most of the time, gets used for occasional heavy hauling like firewood or building materials.

Re: How many miles?
Well mine is my daily driver, literally it is my only mode of transportation. Luckily I have a commute of 2.75 miles one way to work

Re: How many miles?
I've put less than 1000 miles since I bought it in 2006. With winters in Utah and being deployed, I never drove it. Now I live in Texas and I'm retired, she'll get more miles. I'll put 1500 miles this summer for the Hot Rod Power Tour.

Re: How many miles?
My K20 almost never gets driven. Maybe a couple of times month just around town.

Re: How many miles?
5-10K in my K2500 these past few years. It's being my work truck these days and all my work is 20-30 miles (or more) away. I'm not working every day, though.
