Here's my LS1
Here is my setup. It is a 98 corvette LS1 rated at 345hp. My friend just fabricated up the air intake pipe. I think I'm going to powder coat it a grey or black.
I'm taking it in next week for a dual stainless exhaust too. I get 12mpg around town and over 20 on the highway. It sure is a lot of fun! Plus I can tune it all on my laptop.

Haha. You're right! That is the source of the brake project.

Brad, tell him what he really needs. You don't need two blow dryers, you need eight of these...

Very, Very Nice! When you powder coat that intake pipe, I think you should go with black. That way it will not draw attention away from that beautiful engine.

Very nice installation. I would go with a gray tube...possibly even a textured powder (hammertone).

Wow...looks great!
Kinda weird looking at a motor in one of these trucks with no distributor or carb, lol. Lots of room in the engine bay About how much lighter is the allumium LS1 compared to a old-style iron SBC?

Thanks for those awesome shots. Just wondering where the end of your intake goes. Plan to fab my own intake sometime down the line.
thanks, Jay
