Hey, I live up here in the Ozarks and I'm a Rock Star. Look at the center of the pile and the third rock to the left has my star....Jim

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
looks great, but I think you got a defective piece of sheet metal. There's a bunch of holes in it.

Great pattern on those beads! I'm sure glad your goal is to drive this thing...This build has trailer queen written all over it!!! Keep up the great work!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I like the filler panels in there, but think you should remove that corner fender brace and either incorporate something into your new panels or make one that fits with them. Maybe you could remove it and use a small ell piece that would take its place and still function for support. Could probably run without it all together.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
im startng to wonder if i actually need sloshtubs , maibe i just make a suround from a rubber fender suported covered inside the engineroom and do the rest the same way like you did with the radiatorsuport , all straight and angled out of rolled and dimpled pieces
i would even have space to put away a simple plastic and ugly washertank batteries fuses and stuff like that between the paneling and the actual fenders and use dimples for a fillerneck or acceshole maibe this will become the new billet....... as for mounting you might be able to use those snapbuttons they use on some jeans you only need half of the hardwhare to make them work and might even be able to spotweld them in place

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Heck, that's what the previous builder of my truck did. fooled me until we wanted to repaint it.
In all seriousness though, those extra touches are looking nice.
