New Member My 1965 C10
Hello everyone,, This is my first time on a forum like this. It looks cool.I've spent alot of time looking at all the neat projects and very nice trucks.Thought its time to show mine...
Aquired my 1965 p/u when I moved out of my parents house in 1990. No drive trian and a hood with a crappy hood scoop on it but otherwise all there..I found a wrecked 79 elky and dropped in the drive train.Over the years I have added.. Power disc brakes Power steering Under dash a/c also changed rear end and have five lugs all around She mostly hauls my 74 Nova to the drag strip and is always ready to go when my Honda needs some down time.. Soon I will be ready to fix her up somemore with new weather stipping and replace all the door glass too.. Thanx for reading my ramblings,,Robert from AZ.. |

Welcome Robert - sounds like a nice ride. But you know what we say about pictures on this forum(!) we're like three year olds that prefer pictures over text anyday so we can spend more time in the drool bucket. Cant wait to see some pics - if it's your avatar, I'm diggin the color.

Welcome to the forum Robert--after looking at your Nova and its puller, it appears you have lots to bring to the forum.....and hope you can learn from us as well.

Re: New Member My 1965 C10
Went to So-Cal in Phoenix and picked up the floor pans and outer rockers..Also they had some nice door sill plates for $23 each...Now if I can just find a way to get my big brother over to do so cuttin and welding.Mostly the welding part..He has a nice miller and if he can narrow the from on the S-10 drag truck he is building..I think the floor will be a snap...

Looking forward to seeing the progress on your 65. Just don't leave the hood where I can find it, just kidding. I am looking for a nice hood for my 64. You are in good company here. Tom |
