using NOS suspension parts ok?
I have stumbled across NOS upper and lower GM ball joints i was planning to use on my 67. I was curious if you would use these or would buying brand new MOOG parts be a better option. These are in very nice shape and came nicely in their original boxes? would using these cause me troubles? Rod.

Re: using NOS suspension parts ok?
I agree, I don't see how any damage to them would occur sitting in a box on the shelf.

I would rather use NOS where available.

Re: using NOS suspension parts ok?
The only reason I wouldn't use the N.O.S.parts is because they have become far more valuable than top quality Moog replacement parts that will give perfectly good service. The question is more,"Are Moog parts as good as OEM?". The answer is yes,or at least you will never see the difference. Once the OEM is in there it just becomes something you can boost while talking your truck up. Other than that,no one would ever know the difference. Once you use the N.O.S.parts they are no longer N.O.S. They are P.I.S....parts in service

Sell them on Ebay and use the extra cash to buy more stuff.
