Leaf to coil?

Just finished cleaning up my bed and spraying it in nice highbuild.. I removed it to get to the underside and decided its time for my leaf to coil swap.. i have a 72 gmc swb leaf sprung frame and a 71 chevy coil sprung frame witideas anything welcome.. I thank you in adwance

all components. the reason for the swap is because i plan on eventualy bagging the truc.. all opinions, ideas and jokes are welcome

I think if it were me I would start to gather the parts for the future bagged frame, such as the C notch, trailing arm crossmember and if you want to go with the tubular trailing arms when you switch to bags. Otherwise you will be doing alot of the work twice.

I would do the swap. My first 3 trucks all swb, were leaf. My 1968 was finally coils, wow it rides soooooooo much better.

Bag it with T/A's and be done. Why do it twice or thrice?

yeah i wouldnt put the rear control arms on if you are planning to bag it later, just make or buy a triangler 4 link and you can mount your coil springs to it. and then when you are ready to bag it all you have to do is add the bag brackets and a c-notch. or you can just put bags on it now you dont need a compressor to have bags, you can use bicycle valves to fill the bags and if there sealed right they will hold air for a good while. and if the air does bleed out after a week or two you just need to add air. doing a rear frame for bags is a pretty big job and if it were me i would only want to rip the back off once.
