Re: Oil Filter
K&n for me or wix. Don't trust fram anymore after seeing some racers at the track implode the insides of the filter and starve thier engine or run filter media through the mains

Re: Oil Filter
i have run fram on all my small blocks with zero problems ever and i miss changes and go over and i do abuse one of then often. i cut every other one open and never found anything wrong so far. i stick with the fram's do to rust as some of my trucks only get one change a year do to use. i find that the wix and the napa and one other will cave in and not come off. just my .02

Re: Oil Filter
I use either wix or napa gold on everything I own. They're the same filter. I will never use a fram. I cut a few of those open only to find cardboard end caps and the pleats weren't even glued all the way together on some of them

Re: Oil Filter
Go to autozone and pull an AC Delco, and STP, and a ValueCraft out of the box and tell me what you see.
The same filter in 3 different boxes. AC Delco isn't what is once was.

Re: Oil Filter
i runa repair shop here where i am and i will not install frams anything but, i stock Promotive By purolator , I normal has a collection of most promotive, Purolator, Wix(napa Gold) And Mann Filters. The wix and Mann are mostly my new style Cartilage Filters ) Cut open a frame and one of the others you'll not go back, seeing most cars are now installed with a high volume oil pump the old Fram carb board filters dont hold up

Been using AC Delco PF932 on everything that has clearance since 1968. Just remember to add the extra oil when you do.
