SWB rear bumper
So some call me "question boy" because I am always full of questions. Well guess what, I've got another question. My current project is a 1971 Chevy swb with rear leaf springs. I went to put on a chrome rear bumper that was on my parts truck onto the SWB and I found out to my surprise that the PO had welded on two brackets to the frame. I believe that the current welded on brackets wont allow me to mount the chrome bumper so that it is flesh with the body( so that it is normal).
How am I supposed to mount my bumper to the frame once the welded brackets are removed? The rear leaf spring get into the way of mounting the bumper on. Please give me any suggestions or thoughts. Thanks. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: SWB rear bumper
bumpers and or brackets are no different for say a SWB or LWB just different for fleetside / stepside , the brackets you need are in LMC cheap
