Re: What wheels fit

Chevy 8-lug pattern has been the same for many years. 8x6.5..... so they should fit Ok, without problems, considering you have stock suspension or nothing crazy going on.

Check with the tire store you deal with to see if there is a break in what fits what. Sometimes the bolt pattern is the same but the center hole is the wrong size to slip over certain hubs.

Re: What wheels fit

I agree with street, they do all fit.
As a matter of fact I think Dodge and Ford have the same bolt pattern, but the problem there is as mr48chev eludes to, the center hole is larger on the Ford and Dodge so you are putting more stress on the lugs.

I got mine off a 2008 Dodge. Could use a bit of spacing. They will rub the sway bar and shocks if you turn to lock.

Re: What wheels fit

Dodge and Ford were the same for most years, but now, the late model Fords are different... they use a metric pattern.

Most aftermarket wheels these days, are not hub centric. So allowing the lugs to center the wheels, is no problem. Of course, a hub centric wheel is better, but not a necessity at all. For example, the wheels on my 8-lug truck are not hub centric, and I tow a toy hauler without issues.

You should have a lot of options out there for wheels.

They look great on your truck! What's cool about the Dodge wheels, is they are 5-spoke.

Re: What wheels fit

Thanks everyone, I've been going nuts trying to find tires (used) for the 16.5 rims that are on the truck now so I figured I'd look for a set of tires and wheels in a different size but wasn't sure what would fit, seems I do have more options than I thought. I'm just trying to find something on the cheap to get me by for a while, wish me luck........

Those do look good. Is there other options for the center cap, or does only the Dodge ones fit? Also what is the size of your tire wheel combo you have there?

I will look when I get home. They are the stock wheels from a friends truck. I will be getting spacers for them soon. This is the only cap that I have seen. I was running chrome lugs and no caps but I had them so I put them on. I think I can cut out the ram and put somthing in there. For the time they don't look to bad.

Re: What wheels fit

I tires are 265/70 17. They were on a ram 2500 quad cab 4x4. You can find them all over the place. I got a set for my dad on Cragslist for $300. They have them in silver and polished. I like the polished ones.

I have a set of spacers on the way to help with the tight fit.
