belt length?

Does anyone know off hand the belt length of a lq4 6.0l?

You're 6.0 looks just like my 5.3 and it has a Dayco belt part# 5060930.

I'm running Gates Micro-V AT #K060935.....looks like 1/2 longer then topfuel listed.

I would just call an auto store and give them the year truck it came out of and that should give them all they need. But Yes I bet the 5.3 and 6.0 are the same.

I did that and the belt I got was too long. Best bet is to measure it with a string or something and then take that measurement to the auto parts.

Well that seems weird since it is all "factory" I assume. I would think the string thing would be hard with the tensioner trying to get it pre loaded.

After looking at the pictures above and a belt diagram online I might have routed mine wrong. I will get the same belt today and double check it again and let you know for sure.

I did have the right part# after all, I just didn't route it correctly. Dayco P/N 5060923 6PK2345
Here is what the belt routing should look like:

yeah mines routed the same way, but running a #930 belt....I was told....different pn# for different size alt?.......
