Cool 1971 C20 longhorn 350 oil weight

Hi, quick question. I'm not at home where the truck info is, and i need to buy oil for the truck on the way home. What grade should I buy? Thank you in advance.

It depends on the number of miles on the engine. I normally run 10-30 wt in my vehicles, but some people run heavier weights in high mileage trucks.

i run 10-30 in my 350. I havent dealt with junkers since I was a kid but I think the heaviest we ever put in was 10-40 and that was if it was a smoking pig that leaked in the driveway. lol
