Re: off it goes
I did little more than rip a low mile rust free survivor truck apart and throw all the Porterbuilt stuff and some wheels on it......kind of like iceing the cake before its baked, Jims the real bulder here! He's doing exactly what i would have done if my old car addiction didn't run the wheels off of a project that was just getting started!

Re: off it goes
Man I love this truck. I spend almost as much time following this truck as I do working on my own truck!

Re: off it goes
^^^ Thanks man.....it is coming along nicely. Motor, tranny, are mocked in but will be coming back out for paint after we test fit the custom made headers. The box floor and wheel tubs are near completeion and look freakin killer, no spray in crap to hide stuff. Then we move up to front inner fenders that if my idea will work will be wicked looking when done. I am hoping to have it done by the end of summer but we will see....truck is getting an average of 30 hrs. per week work on it. It amazing how time consuming the fab work is to do....

Re: off it goes
Sticking to same factory colors, stock trim, plaid seats, white bumpers.....from first glance it should appear stock with the exception of the wheels, motor and brakes.
I'm close to the Brantford area.... Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: off it goes
Yeh, I know it's original paint but it's not ratty enough to have the cool patina look and it's not pristine enough the way it is. So with all the box fab work being done and the filling of all the pockets and fuel filler and with the cool under hood work and me being very picky with the details.....it's time to paint it.
