carpet

what have you folks done to replace your flooring? I am thinking about carpet, but no one sells a burb kit. I may just take it to a car[et place and try to have them do it.

ACC sells a Suburban kit....

I just spoke to them about one for my '72 Burb. $393.00 in the original 80/20 loop carpet, sounded like a complete kit too.

I am still looking at some carpet samples, trying to decide on a color.....but they will eventually get my money once I decide.

try

Yep.....

It has the factory molded rubber mats now....they are in really nice shape, but are a little too "utilitarian" for my tastes.

I'll just pull them out and store them carefully away.

I'm planning to add some Dynamat type sound deadening, a nice carpet pad, and then the ACC carpet kit. That should kill a lot of noise (not that it's terribly bad now) and make it an even MORE comfortable crusin' machine.....

It's not confirmed yet, but I'm planning to tow my '72 K5 out to Moab, UT at the end of this month using the '72 Burb. Talk about a great "retro road trip"!!!

I wish I was using mine to tow my 2 door tahoe to moab! Needs to much work.

I have the same factory molded flooring. It is all stuck to the floor. I will have to peel it out.

I bet it is cheaper to go through one of the vendors on the board. I am getting mine from Tim C. What comes in the complete kit? I think it covers the rear tubs as well.

The Suburban ACC molded carpet sets are also available through us, they do not however include carpeting for rear wheel tubs but the carpet does cover entire floor front to rear.
You'll find ours here
http://www.gmcpauls.com/Carpet%20&%20Floor%20Mat.htm
and we can save you well over $100.00 rather than buying direct from ACC.

colors

Paul, what colors do you carry?

Also I am looking for a spare tire cover?!

I notice you have a bunch of 67 GMC's, do any of them have a paint matched grill from the factory? Mine does and I cant seem to find anyone else who has one, much less the replacement parts.

cojnit you will find all the available colors here
http://www.accmats.com/products/carp...s/8020loop.htm
Spare tire covers were done in Vinyl and as far as I know no one reproduces them.
All of ours are either Chrome or white, GM master parts catalogs list only to 2 -1967 GMC grills available in 1967 one in Chrome and one in White, the dealer sales catalogs say the same so most likely grill or entire truck was repainted.
Have a good one!!
