What's your favorite year?

Not looking to start any arguments here cause they are all great in their own way. I'm just curious to see these trucks through the eyes of others. So vote and give a reason as to why a certain year is your favorite. Even though I REALLY love the look of a 68 with its steel grille and large back glass I'm voting for 72 for a few reasons mainly the disc brakes, the look of the grill, the door panels and the Highlander package on the Blazers.

'72 Has always been my choice due to mechanicals and interior. That said though I really like the small window '67 exterior look.

Re: What's your favorite year?

I like the looks of the '67 small window cab with the slant nose front clip myself. That being said I like the upgrade we did using '71 running gear.

The slant nose of the '67 & '68 gives the trucks a more sleek look, where as the hood design of the '69 thru '72 gives the trucks a brute look.

I like the '67-'72 trucks the best of all the trucks made by GM.

1968 is my favorite, Sloped hood, big back glass, and i like the look of the marker lights.

Running gear is easy to change.

Re: What's your favorite year?

1968. I grew up with it and learned how to drive in it. Besides that I am fond of the slant nose hood, big window, the custom cab trim, and hubcaps.

I like my 72, but since you are making me pick one year only......

Re: What's your favorite year?

There's no box for all the above. I used to feel I'd take any year highly optioned truck over any year common truck (those are the ones worth the most),but a plain truck appeals to me just as much now.

67-72, I like 'em all. 69 & 70 are my favorites because of the grilles.

I like them all. When I was shopping around for one, I didn't care what year it was as liong as it was a somewhat rust free short fleet.

Re: What's your favorite year?

71 72 for 4wheel drives. 68 for a little bit more style in a 2 wheel drive.

67's are OK except I like the side markers and the larger rear (so much easier to see out of) window on the 68's. 69 and 70 grills just never grew on me.

Re: What's your favorite year?

Okay, I love them all and have owned all the different years, but there's something about the egg crate grill that really does it for me, I am also narrowly picking the 72' over the 71' because of the small option differences , but again I love them all.

Love 'em all, but not a real big fan of the '72 door panels. Just sayin'!

Re: What's your favorite year?

I love the 67's and 68's styling. I prefer the 67 with no markers, but it only as a big window. The 68 gets the BBG, but adds markers. Either one with full trim is the best looking of the era.

1972...immediately because I like the eggcrate grill, always have. The secondary angles would be the disc brakes, the options and the slightly different interior (door panels).
Next would be....probably the 64-66 models (noting I have a '66 C10 as well).
Cheers.

All of 'em!

I've owned a '67 Chevy C10 small window, a '69 Chevy C20, and now a '72 GMC 1500 Super Custom.

I will admit I do like havin' the front disc brakes on the '72.

I love them all but the 67 slant hood, small window and no side markers is my favorite. I have had only 3 67-72s 72 chevy c10, 69 chevy c-30 flat bed and my present 67 gmc c-10. Now if I could only find a nice suburban.
