If you are going to put this behind the I-6 in your sig this would be a good swap.

If your going to put this behind a v-8 it's not such a good swap.THe t-5 is a pretty weak tranny. You couldn't get a t-5 behind a 350 from the factory in a third gen f-body because of how weak the tranny is.

First of all the t-5 is going to be longer than your 3-speed.So your driveshaft is going to need to be shortened. Also the 3 speed in your truck has a different crossmember. It bolts to the bellhousing. The t-5's is like an automatics'Also the your going to have to convert to a hydralic clutch.

Personally I wouldn't do it.

That's just me though.

it going behind my straight six, but i want to know what kind of clutch set up i need. I will probably make my own crossmember.

I would skip the S-10 tranny. Get one out of a camaro, they are stronger, and I think the S-10 ones have a spline issue with small blocks (Non compatible...but I may be wrong)
You can try bolting the tranny to your old bellhousing, but I couldn't tell you if it'd work though.
