A couple of cab questions..

Can someone please tell me what these holes are for? One is a 4 hole pattern on the post of the drivers door below the vent and the other is a indented hole on the passenger's door post. Please see pics below.

The 4 holes are for the VIN plate. The one hole in the passenger side of mine has a screw in it, not sure what it holds.

the passager side there is a spring on the back side for the jack or something the bolt goes though from the door side
