Dang Don, that thing is very original. I wish I had more cash laying around, I would love to try to wrestle that one from you. You don't see many white/ochre/white/ochre 4x4's. I bet that thing looked sharp coming off the lot back in the day.

Yea a black headliner with the parchment or white interior, odd huh ?? I bought it from the guy whos owned it since 1974, he took the gate off and put this crappy looking topper on it, its all original, we'll see how it runs and sounds tomorrow, might be parting it like I said.......

Re: Picked up a 72 Cheyenne Super 4x4 Today
Nice to see a Cheyenne Super K-model. That is odd with the Black headliner in a Parchment interior. The Super with air/tilt K/20 I had was Red Orange/Parchment. It had Black A/C outlets. The glovebox door was body color. They really do vary.
I hate to see it be parted, but if that's the way it goes,so be it. Lots of great parts for sure. I'd like first right to refusal on the cluster bezel and glovebox applique (or whole door,if you prefer not removing). I actually had a Winnebago cap years ago I'd toss on a truck for a weekend trip. "Toss" is an understatement, because that dang thing weighed a ton! Paneled and insulated and it smoother the ride out,it weighed so much. Mine had rounded corners, though.Maybe the squared them off in '73.

Great find!
Owning a Cheyenne Super is something I have on my "Bucket List"... Grew up in the Duluth/Superior area and am moving my family back to the Twin Ports in June.

Nice 4x4 Find! Looks like its time in MT helped preserve it. Got any leads on 69 or 70 K20 CSTs by chance?

Re: Picked up a 72 Cheyenne Super 4x4 Today
Dont part it out! Here's a little inspiration as to what it could look like with very little effort! Although a white/ochre/white/ochre is an uncommon combination, its hard to argue that its ugly...

Re: Picked up a 72 Cheyenne Super 4x4 Today
Yeah, I kinda agree - it definitely looks rebuildable. Here's a 71 K10 Cheyenne Super I passed on about 7 months ago. I've been kicking myself ever since.... What I wouldn't give to get a second shot at this truck. The price was extremely reasonable.
