Small block trucks prob did not even have them them, and if they did would only have one, on the drivers side.
As you know big block trucks came factory with dual exhaust and with an exhaust heat shield on the firewall/floor board.

Did Big Block trucks come with 2 heat shields? Do they bolt to the frame. I am interested in them because I have a new wood floor going in my original samll block truck and am wondering if the holes would be in the frame or crossmembers to bolt the shields on my truck.

All of the heat shields that I have found, were ONLY on BB wood bed trucks. That is whyI listed these that way. They stop your wood bed from catching on fire. I also have the hea shield on the cab for BB. This was to prvent your FEET from catching on fire. hahahahahahahah. If you have ever been in a BB truck with no carpet, you know what I am talking about. Also the heat shields attach to the wood slats on the underside of the bed. thanks Jenn

How much do you want for the floor heat shield? So do you mean the heat shields screw into the bedfloor as I thought the only wood on/in the bed would be the floor boards as per attached pic. There is a good possibility I am coming to Southern Cali in the next few weeks (my buddy bought an 85 Chev Short Box and I am planning on flying down with him and driving back ) and wouldn't mind picking up those shield from you when I'm there. I won't committ until I know my flight is booked.

Yes the screw to the wood itself. You can google images of the heat shields and you can see them installed. Basically you would install the shields where the exhaust is closest to the bed (usually right behind the cab).

Thanks for the offer. I'll wait to see if I am 100% coming and when I know that I'll contacT you on the thread and you still have the shields we can finalize then. Don't hesitate to sell them if someone else says I'll take them.
