Polished Slots
-
Well, I went and picked up my slots at the polishers yesterday. I haven't had a chance to get them cleaned up and waxed yet. They will be going on the Yellow '70 SWB If I get my butt in gear and get it finished up... I have two more sets for him to do.. LockDoc

Re: Polished Slots
Wow! Any before pics? Are they clear coated or will you keep polishing the bare aluminum and using wax on it? The corn looks pretty high already for this time of year- lol

Re: Polished Slots
If you don't mind me asking, how much? I did mine by hand, and they are pretty good, but not that good!

Re: Polished Slots
Those came out real sharp. I would never clear coat aluminum wheels. You can alwAys bring raw aluminum back. You can't do chit when they are clear coated. I've seen clear coat do some nasty things.

Re: Polished Slots
Those look awesome!! My buddy gave me a set of slots for my '73. I polished them with Mother's, but they didn't come out as awesome as yours! Sick! They went when I sold the truck..
