trying to locate cab visor and west coast mirrors for my C20 with no luck.

ok,i got a 1970 C20 and want a cab visor, looked high and low but can only find them to fit a 1973 and up chevy.where can i find one for my 70,or find one that will fit nicely (universal?)

secondly i would like a set of west coast mirrors, not Jr.s.i want to find a set where the bracket is about 12 to 14 inches long, for mirrors 16 to 18 inches tall.the old 80 gmc sierra at work had a smaller pair like that.smallest i found so far is a 16 inch long bracket.add a loop and thats just way too long.

i have yet resorted to a junkyard to find the mirrors, thats my last resort.i would perfer the tall mirrors for the occassional tow but overall field of vision.

did find a 12 X 7 mirror head on a gooseneck that could work with regualar mounts, but thats past last resort.

Lunds are the only ones I can find.

http://www.streetperformance.com/par...954-12007.html

J & J Emterprises made nice steel ones. I googled them and they must not have a website. I see their products being sold, even visors. But,only for PT Cruisers. I didn't look hard, just the first page.

I like the 67/68 Jr. West Coasts, also known as Junior RVs. I believe some stainless ones are for sale on the parts board.

Here's one of those J & J visors for these trucks:

In this picture you can see the old fiberglass one on my wrecker...Supervisor!

Of course this is just my opinion, but those visors really take away from the lines of the truck.

I have only seen 4 types of visors for our trucks.

Special_K has 2 types.

Lund made one.

I have a "hickey" style one. NO pics, but i will try to get a pic.

Re: trying to locate cab visor and west coast mirrors for my C20 with no luck.

I think the Lunds take away from the lines and the other two shown don't at all. They are just not what your eyes are used to seeing after looking at thousands all one way. I like them on only certain applications and it's always hard to decide using one. I have only ever installed one (J & J) and that was on a work truck. I sold the one pictured. Now that these trucks are even older it's a harder decision to change something that has survived unaltered so long. But,visors are a true truck thing from way before the fad came along to sportify them rather than cars...just like west coast mirrors. Some get offended by big mirrors. Hey,remember? "It's a truck, man!"

Took some pics today:
Both backs have rust through- but repairable. I figure $50 for the pair and $15 to ship= $65.00 to your door if you want them..

I like the Lund visors. Have had mine since the early 90's. They will help keep the sun out of the cab.

Found a visor, but it has a truck attached. Seller might have some helpful info.
