3 point seat belts
I know this has been asked numerous times before, But I never paid much attention to them because I thought I would never put them in me truck. But I am seeing more reasons every time I think about it.
Which donor vehicle will work in our trucks? Are there any, and mean ANY, probems when I install the upper bolt to the cab? It will have new paint, and I would hate to screw that up.

I used 90 s10 blazer belts, but I also have buckets. I'm not sure how the female part would work on a bench seat.
the only issue I had with the upper bolt was the nut in the cab was rusted and i had to tap it out. other than that, no problem.

I bought a pair out of a '86 or so S-10 pickup, standard cab. I think the ex. cab belts are a little different. Cost me $30 and is the best upgrade for the dollar i have made to my truck.
$30 is cheap considering it could save your life, or being hurt pretty bad Anyway, make sure to get the outside parts with the retractor, as well as the female ends that come through the seat. On my bench seat truck, i simply un-bolted the passenger side belts, and installed the new belts. Everything bolted in, and the female ends were the perfect lenght to come through my seat. The driver's side went in the same way, except i had to drill a hole about 4" forward of the stock hole for the floor mounting of the retractor. I used grade 8 hardware, except for the top mounting point. I couldn't find any grade 8 fine thread fasteners anywhere, so i used grade 5. Overall, you will feel much safer after the upgrade

If you have a stock bench seat you will also have to extend the floor mounts under the seat by about 4inches. I just took some 2 in flat bar and made an extension.

mine came out of an 80 something suburban and bolted right in with the exception of having to extend the bracket to clear the edge of the seat...also, be sure that the donor truck was not wrecked...this weakens the web
