If you like em farm fresh, your gonna like this!!

My recent find.
1 owner, 66k original miles.
Patina galore! Actually says Opal & Willard on the leading surface of the hood. These were the original owners.
Factory a/c.... That is correct, factory a/c.
Hinged racks for grain or cattle with changable rear door for use either way.
going to pick it up tonight.
Think I will shag the racks and make it a flat bed.

Love it just the way it is!! I've always liked the style of the old Midwest and Giant brand stake beds with inset marker lights and the fancy pinstripe they used back then....thats when Companies took pride in the products they made!

Opal & Willard must have been walking in high cotton the year they ordered a 1 ton with a/c!

I like it,too. That's a nice piece of truck there. Maybe do a compromise on the racks and make them 2-rail w/o the plywood.

Re: If you like em farm fresh, your gonna like this!!

Thanks everyone!
I will get more pictures in the days to come. A little hectic right now, but will be sharing all the vital statistics as soon as I can get them posted.
In the meantime here are a few teasers.
With a few minor here and there items it is all original down to most of the hoses, camps etc.

Re: If you like em farm fresh, your gonna like this!!

Looks alot like my 68!!! i find that the sides on mine come in REAL handy when it comes to cutting wood, moving dirt, or even moving larger items... mine even has hooks that I can ratchet strap a tarp to in order to keep the rain out of the bed..... One of the most handy vehicles I have EVER owned and THE single most requested vehicle of mine that people ask if its for sale.... noit the best english nut you get the point... great find...

Excellent find! I agree with Mike on the versatility of these trucks. The only down side I've encountered is the high level of the deck..........although, I do have to say the height is just right for leaning on and shooting the breeze!

I wouldn't change a thing.
Except maybe some non-split rims.
