gas pedal and tbi conversion

i am converting my 69 3/4 ton to tbi and what modifying do i have to do to make the 71-72 work in my truck...got lucky and a friend found one in a truck at pull a part in knoxville...from what i have read it is not a direct bolt in...

i checked that out and was going to go that route...but now i have the gas pedal assembly from a 72 model...do they bolt in direct or do i need to modify?

Not a direct bolt in if I recall correctly.

I installed a 71 pedal in a 69 cab by enlarging the 3 mounting holes and bending the arm a little. Also requires drilling a hole for the cable.
