Newb

Hi, I'm new here. Just picked up this 71 and thought I would share. For now I am working on sorting it out, then I'll move to what I might want to change etc. Here are some pics.

Re: Newb

The paint is pearl. The work is showing some age but its holding up well. I plan to use it as a motorcycle/car parts hauler. What are guys doing for wheels nowadays? I was thinking a set of rally wheels would look good.

Re: Newb

Rallye wheels will look good on there[and just about anywhere] they look like they were made for that truck. I put a set on my 70 and it changed the whole personality of the ride. I don't care for the pearl, not just on that truck but anyones truck/car. I don't have to work on it so it is ok I guess. I have a body shop and almost cringe when I see one and have visions of mismatched paint in my mind. I had a park ave in the booth that I sprayed like 3 times for the guys mixing the paint got it close. Nice ride congrats
