Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
How are you going to shave the cowl vent? Are you planning on cutting out all the little bars and welding one single sheet into it or filling each individual slot? Or have you done this already? I read every single one of your builds the other afternoon and my head is still spinning from all the goodness but I cannot recall if I read how you were doing this. Keep up the good work and the pictures :-D

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Ok so I started last week on the inner bed sides and the rear inner fenders. I used 3/4 inch box on top of the one inch box I used for the sub frame so that the metal would flush mount with the wood. I am happy with the way it turned out, but I am planning on redoing the metal on the top of the fender because I got it a little to hot and warped it while I was welding, so I need to fix it. Other than that I am happy with the way it turned out. What do you guys think.
