TV cable set-up
This may have been posted before, but I thought someone might be interested that run 700 trannys. I have installed Bowtie Overdrives TV cable set-up. Very well engineered. Here's what it looks like on a Eledbrock carb. Very clean. Alot better than the old bracket I fabbed up. Danny

I have the same setup and am very pleased. It's costly, but well worth it to get it right, in my opinion.

I agree, WELL worth the money! I had originally installed a Lokar TV cable and the trans shifted like crap. I installed the Bowtie Overdrives set up and it was like night and day. Do you have yours set up to shift aggressively??

Slammed67, I'm in the frame off process. It'll be awhile before I get to drive it and see exactly how it is set. It does move the TV spool through out it's range perfectly. I've got to started on my cab. Didn't you shave you driprails? If so any pointers. I've got started at the bottom of the pass. side. I curious about what to do with the 1/4 groove that is left right inside the door opening. Weld in a small strip or bondo? BTW, got a No Limit gas tank on the way. No, I didn't shave my drip rails. From what I've heard, you need to cut off a few inches, weld, cut a few more, weld, etc until it's gone. Good luck with it!
