New Shoes For The Circuit Rider
Well after much study and reading I have purchsed a set of 15x8 Rally Wheels for my truck. They are less maintenance then what I have and they have the look that I like which goes back to the late 60's and early 70's.
There are a lot of super looking wheels to choose from. 15s -20's but these are the ones that best remind me of years gone by.

Re: New Shoes For The Circuit Rider
I ran a pair of 15x10' on the back, with 15x8's on the front, on my '69. I had 'em powder-coated red.
Later, meaning about 18 months ago, I got another set for my '96....16x7's, so I could rotate my tires. With some experience....I'd have gone with a shorter tire up front and got me some rubber rake goin'.

Well I only have one thing to say Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
You know your truck is probably in the top 5 here on the board, this may put it down into the top 6 =( *Sigh* I guess it will probably be ok with rallys.

Well the TT's I bought last year are showing sign of wear after just one year. I realize not all will like Rally's but ... I put used Rally on the fronts and I do like the look. I will use Corvette dust cover caps. This is my truck version of the SS that I could not afford at the age of 18...for that matter I still can't afford a true SS now

I like them, when mine gets out of the paint shop I'm putting mine back on. What size tires are you going to run.

LOL, Oh I like the ralleys too, just look at all the trucks posted .... nice stuff! I just love the look of your truck as it is, but I'm not the one that has to keep up the wheels =) Just to keep it interesting .... Here is how his awesome truck sits right now (unless he already put the new wheels on lol)

You can always switch back and forth between the two depending on your/our mood.

Re: New Shoes For The Circuit Rider
curious question, was it these rally wheels that came on these trucks or the other late model ones with more slots ? or was it neither ?

Re: New Shoes For The Circuit Rider
The truck Rallys that are normally used are early 80's I believe. The Five slots are the late 60's early GM style 70's slots.

Love those rims. I wish I could get a set for mine? They don't make them in 8 lug. Do they? Dang it!
