wiw 72 cst blazer
Friend of mine is looking to get a feel of what to ask for his blazer as it's time to thin out his herd Any guesstimets are appreciated. Heres the info he gave me:
1972 Blazer CST 2WD with factory air, tilt, and tach. Suspension rebuilt with Early Classic 4” X 6” drop. Reinforced trailing arms in back. Front components (a-arm mounts, steering joints, pitman) all replaced with Moog. Sway bar with urethane mounts. New tires on wide ralley rims Engine is a later model 350 but is getting up in mileage. Still runs strong but some oil usage and a leak from the rear main. New aluminum radiator and Jeep electric fan. Rebuilt 700R transmission with Kugel linkage. Started life as a manual transmission and was converted to an automatic in the 80’s with stock suburban components. Rear end was replaced with non-rebuilt unit but some leaks starting. Body needs one new rocker and two floor panels. Comes with two clean truck doors, both current ones need to be replaced. Interior completely stripped. Has two Astro Van seats with custom mounts. I have two door panels and old rear cst side panels. Comes with mid 80’s rear suburban seat and all four recessed mount points for quick seat removal. Paint was done in 1993 and shows wear, scratches etc. Rear gate is aftermarket with a shaved handle and boat latches. Back bumper bolts smoothed. Front is a recent installed motor-home clip with an extra hood support in the middle to cure/prevent sag. New grill, surround and bezels. Top is a bolt down through that has been smoothed. None of the typical sag in the middle of the top. |
